We are all Seekers (Sādhaka's)

Not a day goes without seeking

Sādhaka  or Sādhak (Sanskrit: साधका or साधक), is someone who follows a particular Sādhana, or a way of life designed to realize one’s personal goal.

Sādhana on the other hand means a disciplined approach, undertaken to reach one’s desired goal. It is like a road map/plan that you create and work at to reach your goal.

Both are derived from the Sanskrit verb root Sādh- ,  which means ‘To accomplish’.

From the day we are born, we are constantly seeking to accomplish.  Whether it is a baby wanting to walk instead of crawl or a student wanting to get a job or a millionaire wanting to be a billionaire, we are constantly seeking. To ‘seek’ is to be human.

All of us want Success in our lives. We chase success through different means and take different paths. What works for one might not work for another. But the common thing about us all is that we all sādhakas, ever striving to make progress towards our version of success.

That is why I decided to call this blog Success Sādhaka.

In simple terms, I started Success Sādhaka to support the seeker within you, get one step closer to success through stories, wisdom, strategies, disciplines, trainings and products.

A humble Sādhaka myself

While I wanted to create a space to share my thoughts and help others improve and succeed in their lives, I discovered that the basic reason why I was doing all this was that inherently I was seeking an opportunity to reach out and help people via my methods of story telling, article writing and info products. I realized that I was myself, a Sādhaka. Seeking to find an outlet to explore my potential while helping others.

And all the material that I was generating, be in on different subjects and topics, it was always about being better than the day before. Basically being successful in whatever one strives to do.

The content you will encounter on this site – stories, philosophies, advice and tips range from a wide variety of sources, cultures, geographies and time periods. I have gathered them through my travels, listening to my grandparents, reading, meeting random people and other personal experiences.

Hope you might enjoy reading, sharing or even consider worthy of incorporating some of the information in your own Success Sādhana.

Cheers,

Ram Ganti
